Something bad has just happened. While Stanley and his friends were playing poker, he got a little too drunk. Everyone was yelling and tensions were high, and before I knew it… he hit me. My first reaction was to just run out of there and get away from him. Wasn’t that the right thing to do? Or maybe it was just the easiest thing to do. After all, I am going to have his baby, and I have to stay with him don’t I? Right. It’s for the good of our future family. Well, after this all happened, I ran upstairs to Eunice’s. Then Blanche came running after me and tried to convince me to leave Stan. But I can’t! My whole future depends on him! Anyway, I went back to him, and we worked it all out. It was quite an eventful night. Blanche also dared to question my judgement on my marriage with Stan. I know exactly what I need to do, and although Blanche is my older sister and feels as if she needs to protect me, I don’t need no protection from nobody! I am in no situation that I wish to get out of, and that’s that! Blanche can no longer control my life, and that’s the whole reason I moved out here and left Belle Reve. Perhaps that is the whole reason I married Stanley; to escape the only true family I have left? No, of course not, what am I saying?! Speaking of Blanche, she still seems to be acting a little strange, especially when Stanley’s around. Like I’ve said before, I think he knows more about her than she’s comfortable for. I’ve tried making him see how fragile she is, but he just won’t listen to me. Besides, I guess someone as independent and strong as Stanley is hard to convince; maybe at all. Well, that’s all for now, and hopefully things will improve with the bad blood between Stan and Blanche. Goodnight!
